[dog] Hey, there goes John.

[onscreen action] Dog stops eating from dog bowl and looks up.

[dog] John, wait, wait, I'll be done in a minute, don't forget to walk me, I'm next, I'm next.

[onscreen action] The man, John, sits outside with the dog and gently scratches under the dog’s chin.

[dog] Alright, a little one-on-one time, I love you John.

[onscreen action] A young girl walks towards the camera.

[dog] Here comes a little girl, I love little girls.

[onscreen action] The girl pets the dog through the chain link fence.

[dog] Hello, my name is Abby, what's yours? I like to play, a lot, how 'bout you?

[onscreen action] An adult takes the young girl by the hand.  The girl waves goodbye.

[dog] See you later, shucks, I liked her.

[onscreen action] Woman enters the fenced-in area. She attaches a leash to the dog.

[dog] Hey Jan's coming over here. They like me, they really like me. Today must be my lucky day.

[onscreen action] The woman, Jan, walks the dog over to the girl and woman who had stopped by.

[dog] I knew you liked me. Will you take me home? I'm finally going home.

[onscreen action] The woman, Jan, walks the dog past the fenced in area with other dogs.

[dog] See you guys, I'm sure you'll be going home soon.

[onscreen action] The adult with the girl fills out paperwork.
